This is the first in our series of ‘Spotlights’ with our vendor focused teams where we will look at our key vendor priorities and what we bring to the table for our partner community. This month We're going to start this series off with a spotlight on HPE & Aruba.  Our HPE/Aruba team has grown over the past couple of years, as has our knowledge, capabilities and services.  We have done a lot of work behind the scenes to give our partners the best customer experience possible with HPE products and solutions.

What does this mean for HPE & Aruba? A high level of focus on their select tiered products, recruiting new partners, helping partners navigate their way to silver program status, increasing our technical skills, and providing the channel with a robust stocking model for BTO server and storage solutions. 

What does this mean to our partners? We will provide best in class levels of service and extensive knowledge of products, programs, promotions and processes. Understanding product placement, technical configurations and sizing, and helping partners to select the right product for the right opportunity is key to providing a strong partner experience. Ingram continues to invest in our dedicated team of sales and business development associates, which now hold many sales and technical certifications (including 4 ATP Hybrid IT Technical certifications in Canada).

Our game plan for this year is to bring new partners into the HPE ecosystem. Our business development team can help guide you through the process of becoming an HPE Business Partner and starting your journey to achieve silver medallion status. To get that silver status, partners are  required to hold HPE ATP technical certification and sales competencies and they need to achieve a minimum revenue threshold. Is it worth the effort?
