Over the past few decades, no one has met the demand for big business printers quite like Lexmark. Known for making industry-leading, large workgroup A4 printers and MFPs, Lexmark has been recognized worldwide for their award-winning business-class products. Lexmark’s ability to anticipate customer needs has allowed them to retain their position as an industry leader over the years and their latest series is a reflection of that.
Lexmark is extending their award-winning color expertise into the world of small business with the Lexmark GO LineTM Series, which consists of a new MFP and a printer. Let’s take a look at what their new devices have to offer:
Speed matters in small business just as much as it does in big business, and the new Lexmark products can print up to 26 pages per minute in letter or 24ppm A4. The first page of a document can be printed in less than 10 seconds and a 1GHz dual core processor quickly processes complex jobs, which drives major productivity.
Smaller, Lighter and More Durable
The Lexmark GO LineTM Series is designed to last for a long time and products are built with a steel frame. The new and improved MFP is lighter and 30% smaller than older models. The compact design and light weight of the MFP makes it easy to transport and fit in tight quarters.
Ease of Use
The Lexmark GO LineTM Series products have a 250-sheet tray that is universally adjustable and can be used to change media types with ease. The bypass is also universal, which makes printing different media sizes feasible. The MFP has a 2.8’ capacitive touchscreen that is loaded with powerful cloud-based workflows and applications such as direct integration.
Another aspect of these devices that has been altered for ease of use is the paper path. In the previous model, the media exited toward the rear of the device; and in the case of the MFP, it sat behind the scanner. This presented problems when the device was placed on a desk that sat against a wall or in a cabinet. In our new models, the paper path has been reversed and paper now exits toward the end user.
Supplies in the new Lexmark devices are consistent with their newer color products and if you run out of color toners, you still have the ability to print in black ink. They also have better controller performance with a 1Ghz dual processor, which makes it easy to power through complex jobs.
The New Mono Device
A new mono MFP has also been added to the line-up. It has all the same capabilities as the other new Lexmark devices and comes with a 2.8’ touchscreen. This device is best suited to small workgroups of two to four people who want to print between 1500 and 3000 pages per month in color. Organizations with highly distributed workers, like insurance companies or real estate representatives, can also benefit from using this device.
The Lexmark GO LineTM Series has been specifically designed to meet the needs of small businesses and can be used to simplify success.
